Tuesday 23rd October 2018

We serviced the van before leaving St Loup this morning. We travelled south east stopping for a cup of tea along the way and at the aire at Brognard where Ann investigated this nearby lake.

Despite the swans on the lake we decided that the place was not to our taste so we moved on.

We came on a little further south east and stopped for the day at this recreation area in the village of Dasle - still in France but very close to the Swiss border.

As well as hammocks and picnic tables there are wooden horses here which are very popular with the local children.

There is a disused railway line which has been turned into a cycle track passing by the recreation area. We got out our bikes and went for a ride.

It was all downhill going and all uphill coming back!

We had a good rest on the picnic benches next to our van after we returned from the ride.

There was a nice sunset.

Today we travelled 55 miles (89 kilometres). We are at N47.47892 E6.89159
