Monday 14th June 2021

This morning it was beautiful and sunny again in Widecombe. We did our final bit of packing, locked up the house and set off. After stopping off to top up the LPG tanks we journeyed up the valley of the River Exe to the Exmoor coast and stopped for the day at the National Trust car park at Bossington Hill. It was beautiful weather when we arrived but soon a sea mist rolled in and obscured all the views as you can see from this picture.

The National Trust want a £1 contribution to park here. As a life member of the trust I think I am probably exempt from paying.

In a while the sea mist cleared a bit and we could see down to the coast near Porlock Wear.

There is a very nice woodland area here with wheelchair accessible walks.

As the sun got lower the views improved.

After we'd had tea we watched Spain play Sweden in the European Championship Finals.

There was a nice sunset.

Today we travelled 84 miles (135 kilometres). We are at: N51.21801 W3.56111
