Today we travelled west leaving the Bodensee behind us.

After stopping along the way to do a grocery shop and have a cup of tea we stopped for the day at the town of Neustadt. We are staying next to the railway station. Here's the view from the front of our van.

I took a walk into town  - who's this?

There's a very steep walk up to the high street.

A small river runs through town.

Here's the town hall. Where you pay your rates? (Known as Council Tax these days in Britain !?)

Later on we both went into town..

We went for a meal out at a Thai eatery.

It's the sort of place where you go and order your food at the counter.

We each had a curry and a local beer. We are in and the beer is from the Hochschwarzwald (High Black Forest). 

Back at our van the modern electrified trains come and go every few minutes but there seem to be very few passengers on them.
