This morning we visited Geilston Garden, near Helensburgh. (National Trust for Scotland).

They have an amazing vegetable garden.

Wild flowers abound!

The garden is quite compact but there is a lot to see.

Here's the orchard.

What about these giant hostas? Oh - I forgot to mention Ann cut my hair before we left Garelochhead this morning - not everyone has a personal hair stylist travelling around with them!

There are some very nice wooded areas.

There was a water mill here once. This is the dam of the old millpond.

Neat the house there is a big Redwood tree.

It's a really nice garden. Before leaving we bought a lettuce and a courgette from their vegetable garden.

We crossed the Clyde by the Erskine Bridge on the way to visit our friends Moira and Martin at Fairlie on the North Ayrshire Coast.

Moira and Martin gave us a great welcome.

We are staying here tonight.

Ann and Moira have known each other for a very long time!

Moira and Martin have a beautiful modern house.

The house is right by the sea with fine views to the mountains of Arran.

They get marvellous sunsets here.

Today we travelled 53 miles (85 kilometres).
