Wednesday 4th December 2019

We left our home in Devon about 12.30 today and after stopping off for diesel, groceries and lpg we travelled to the village of Broadwell in the Cotswolds and stopped for the night at the Fox Inn. It was only about 17.00 when we arrived but dark by then. When we turned on the vans's central heating we found that the thermostatic control wasn't working so the heating is either on or off - when it gets too hot you have to turn the heating off and when it gets too cold you have to turn it back on!

We went for a meal in the pub.

They have a real fire!

We tried the local beer - brewed in the next village. Ann had chicken and chips, I had salmon and new potatoes.

The place is a bit of an art gallery with paintings for sale. You could buy this tasteful?? painting of a hare for £100.

We watched some of the Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur match on TV in the pub before retiring to our van for the night.

Today we travelled 159 miles (256 kilometres). We are at N51.94492 W1.70635
