Tuesday 10th December 2019

It was a really nasty day today, high winds and driving rain. We made a round trip of about 20 odd miles inland to Morrisons supermarket at Fakenham to buy supplies and take on diesel.

We bought quite a lot and as a bonus got 10p per litre off our diesel purchase.

Back at the coast we parked for the day (and night) at the beach at Cley next the Sea.

The village of Cley is about a mile south of the beach and on slightly higher ground. No doubt the sea often comes in over this area and the extra height protects the village from flooding.

There is an old windmill in Cley.

There are a couple of fishing boats here pulled out on the pebble beach.

Great flocks of wild geese came and went during the afternoon. The weather was so nasty throughout that we didn't venture outside the van.

Today we travelled 29 miles (47 kilometres). We are at N52.96521 E1.04853
