Monday 9th December 2019

Today we moved on a short distance east to the National Trust car park at Morston Quay.

The usual National Trust welcome awaited us but we decided to ignore it.

We went for a walk across the coastal wetlands - it was very windy and cold.

There are many deep tidal channels in the wetland.

The sun is very low in the middle of the day at this time of year.

We saw this bird - we think that it's a Redshank.

There are quite a few boats moored hear but none are putting out to sea today.

We weren't out for long because it was so cold and windy.

Back at our van we watched the sun go down at about 15.40. We're looking forward to a restful night!?

Today we travelled 8 miles (13 kilometres). We are at N52.95712 E0.98534
