Tuesday 8th May 2018

It was very misty this morning. We moved on towards Tregaron and stopped briefly at this Forestry Commission viewpoint at Cwm Berwyn.

This would have made an almost as nice overnight stop as where we were last night!

After we reached Tregaron we stopped slightly further on at the Cors Coran wetlands bordering the river Teifi and close to the ruins of Strada Florida Abbey. We got our bikes out and took a ride along a disused railway line bordering the wetlands.

We temporarily left the bikes and walked on a boardwalk for about 800 metres to the bank of the Teifi.

There were Marsh Marigolds growing everywhere.

There were horses grazing along the banks of the river.

There were also wild geese and their young.

There were huge clumps of Horsetails growing in amongst the Marsh Marigolds in the wetland.

Back on the disused railway line we visited a bird hide but didn't see any birds from there. Here's the view looking out of the hide.

After going into Aberystwyth to visit Lidl for supplies we moved on to the down at heal seaside resort of Borth where we stopped for the day.

No doubt the place must have been packed out yesterday due to the hot weather and the bank holiday but today it was pretty well deserted and most commercial establishments  were closed.

We're parked for the night next to the sea wall.

Just down from us is this nice row of multicoloured beach side terraces.

Today we travelled 49 miles (79 kilometres). We are at N52.49507 W4.05184
