Sunday 13th May 2018

This morning we took a walk around Carreg.

There were fantastic views in all directions.

There were some jet skiers doing their thing out to sea.

We we could see down onto the Porth Oer car park.

We came upon some old abandoned agricultural machinery - some people would pay a fortune to get one like this to display on  their front lawn!

We moved on to Porthdinllaen - we walked over the beach to the village.

It was very crowded in the village.

We walked back over the Golf Course.

When we got back to the car park we went to look for "The Electric Bungalow" in Morfa Nefyn where I had stayed on at least a couple of occasions as a child on family holidays. This house which is now called Bwthyn Arian (Silver Cottage) is I think the house. I remember it had a chemical toilet which I considered to be a bit of a novelty! Giles, Richard, Colin, Gillian (my cousins and sibling who might have been on these holidays) - what do you think?

We stopped for the day close to the village of Llithfaen on the road to the Welsh National Language Centre where Ann and I first met on a Welsh Language course in 1993.

The peak towering above our parking place is Yr Eifl (564 metres) - the first mountain I ever climbed - probably aged about 8 - and probably when staying at "The Electric Bungalow".

To day we travelled 20 miles (32 kilometres). We are at N52.96481 W4.45437
