It's a beautiful day today in Widecombe, we're setting off in our van, in a way it's a pity to leave when the weather is so nice.
We travelled north east stopping for a cup of tea somewhere on the Somerset Levels.
We have just joined Britstops - a scheme where by you can stay overnight for free at various places such as farms, pubs, marinas, vineyards etc. We headed to a likely looking pub on the Somerset Levels but when we got there the car park was mainly taken up by a huge marque and the rest of it was full of cars due to it being a bank holiday weekend. We moved on to the Mendip Hills and stopped for the day at this Forestry Commission car park.
We went for a walk in the forest.
As the sun got low there was some really nice light.
Today we travelled 97 miles (156 kilometres). We are at N51.25927 W2.64829
