We got going about mid day and after taking on diesel and water in Pwllheli moved on the short distance to Llanbedrog. Before we located the National Trust car park we inadvertently got tangled up in a very posh wedding in the nearby very posh hotel! Here's the beach at Llanbedrog.

We took a walk along the beach.

We met a couple with a bouncy dog called Henry - you can hardly see him as he's up Ann's leg!

We found some nice rocks to sit on.

On the way back from the far end of the beach we saw that the wedding party we had tangled with earlier had decamped to the beach!

Here's a general view of Llanbedrog beach from the top of the cliff.

There are lots of beach huts at Llanbedrog but they're not on the beach - they're in the car park!

As the National Trust do not allow overnight parking in the car park at Llanbedrog we moved on to Porth Oer (Whistling Sands) where to our displeasure we discovered that the NT don't allow overnight parking here either. The sands really do whistle if you run your feet through them!

Porth Oer really is a lovely spot. I used to come here as a child on family holidays and I remember it well from that time.

We moved on again the very short distance to the unrestricted NT car park at Carreg. This is a really beautiful place and we have stopped for the night here. The local farm dog came to introduce himself.

To day we travelled 25 miles (40 kilometres). We are at N52.82704 W4.72894
