Monday 7th May 2018

This morning we serviced the van in Abergavenny and moved on to Brecon through rolling agricultural countryside like this.

From Brecon we took a B road through the MOD firing range to Garth and from there on to Beulah. We took the narrow and sensationally steep in places Beaulah to Tregaron road into Tywi Forest.

We found this fabulous wild camping spot absolutely miles from any where in any direction. There is absolutely no mobile signal.

It was really, really hot with a gentle breeze. We got our chairs out.

There are great views of the forestry in all direction. Even though it is Bank Holiday we saw very few vehicles.

There's quite a lot of wildlife around. We saw lots of larks, a cuckoo and at least one kite.

There was a nice sunset.

Today we travelled 67 miles (108 kilometres). We are at N52.20392 W3.77919
