Monday 2nd January 2017

It was cold in the night and misty this morning. The mist cleared quite soon and we got some great views of the Sierra Nevada as we got back onto the A92 and traveled west.

We stopped off briefly in Granada to take on LPG and then moved on to the town of Alhama south west of Granada where we stopped for the day. Here's the view from our van.

We took a walk through the gorge which borders the town.

The gorge is very accessible with lots of paths and stairways.

We soon got out of the shade and into the sun.

We climbed up a stairway in the cliff from the bottom of the gorge back into the town.

There was a good view from the top of the stairway.

There are some interesting features in the town such as this old gate.

Here's a nice fuente.

Soon after we got back to our van Sophie and Jered turned up in theirs and parked just behind us.

They have been recording where they have been on the back door of their van.

We had a good chat with them.

By coincidence Sophie, Jered and I all went to the same University in Birmingham.

Today we traveled 97 miles (156 kilometres). We are at N37.00551 W3.98598
