Today Thursday 2nd July we made a particularly late start having been up till about 2.00 am watching England get beaten by Japan in the Semi Final of The Womens' World Cup. We gave Lucy and Ewan a lift 20 odd miles east to Strathcoil. It was quite interesting getting their bikes in and out of the van.

There were some good cloud effects going through Glen Mor.

We dropped Ewan and Lucy off and continued towards Tobermory.

When we got to Tobermory and had completed our circumnavigation of Mull we turned round and went back the way we had come. We saw this castle.

We saw these ruined boats.

Tonight we are parked by the remains of Salen Pier. Until 1955 this was a major ferry terminal connecting Mull to the mainland. After 60 years of disuse this is all that's left of the pier.
