On Sunday 28th June, after having stocked up with groceries, autogas and water at Fort William we travelled west to the Ardmurchan Peninsula, the western extremity of which is the most westerly point on Mainland Britain, The road runs mainly along the southern side of the Peninsula - here's a typical view looking south.

We stopped for the night at Ardslignish. Here's the view looking west to Ben Hiant (528 metres) an extinct volcano.
