We left home about 15.15 today and made a fairly easy journey to Brittany Ferries Terminal at Poole stopping off on the way to top up our diesel and LPG tanks. 

When we arrived here we were the only vehicle in the huge car park.

As it was getting dark another van turned up. We had a chat with the occupants - they're from near Salisbury.

There's nothing much here apart from a closed cafe and some quite posh toilets.

Apparently they charge £10 to park here overnight at peak holiday times but whenever we've been here the cafe is always closed and it's free to park overnight. We are booked onto the 8.30 Brittany Ferries service to Cherbourg in Normandy tomorrow morning. We had vegetable pie for our tea.
