Sunday 4th November 2018

We left Treviso today and continued east and then south down to the Adriatic coast. Much of the route was down tree lined avenues.

We stopped for the day at a large parking area near Bibione. There is a belt of trees between the parking area and the beach. Many of the trees had been blown down recently.

A tremendous amount of debris has been washed up on the beach.

There must have been a terrific storm here recently.

The beach is popular with horse riders.

Some people were fishing.

These people seemed to be collecting molluscs.

Ann saw this turtle shell. As dusk fell most people left leaving us and a couple of other vans to ourselves.

Today we travelled 50 miles (80 kilometres). We are at N45.62382 E12.95564

I think you have been very lucky to miss the bad weather in Italy recently. The Guardian reported that 20 people had died in recent storms in the country, so you have been fortunate to miss all that! Hopefully the sun will shine as you head east.
