Monday 1st July 2019

Today we made the shortish journey west to the town of Callac and parked by a small reservoir which we think is for generating hydroelectricity rather than for water supply.

It's mainly about being a nature reserve.

We walked around the reservoir.

The water level is quite low.

The empty shells of enormous fresh water mussels are littered everywhere on the exposed mud banks,.

Here's the small river which feeds the reservoir.

Here's another view of the little river.

At the head of the reservoir there is a luxuriant abundance of foliage!

Here's a view towards our parking place from where the little river flows in.

This place is habituated by numerous ducks.

We walked across the top of the dam.

We passed this interesting piece of public art.

This view looks back towards the dam.

Back at our van after completing the circuit of the reservoir we wiled the day away. Here's the view out of the door on the side of our camper.

As the sun got low there was some nice light.

Here's looking in the opposite direction.

We are heading for the port of Roscoff.

Today we travelled 21 miles (34 kilometres). We are at N48.40117 W3.43985
