Today we travelled east and then north east. We stopped at the town of Tynset to buy (very expensive) drinks and (not so expensive) groceries. Along the way Ann saw a moose (or Elg as they call them round here). We stopped again in the village of Brekken to buy a few more grocery items which we had forgotten to buy in Tynset. Then we parked for the day next to a lake just outside the village.

This is a really nice spot but the weather is anything but nice!

We walked the short distance down to the lake. Ann had to contend with a metal cable along the way.

The lakeside is very attractive with numerous youngish silver birch trees.

As we approached the lake the wind was getting up and it was starting to rain.

There's a nice beach here.

Note the beach volleyball net in the distance. Not a good day for it today. We hurried back to the van.

A Finnish registered van turned up, ramped and stayed for the night. The Norwegian registered one seen here on the right turned up, had a look round and left. Throughout the evening there was strong wind and driving rain.
