Thursday 9th July 2026

Light rain during the morning and a little drier later on. A busy day. Travelled north. Took on water, diesel and LPG and did a supermarket shop. Stopped for the day at Egge Museum car park close to the city of Steinkjer. A few minutes after we had arrived another UK registered van, seen here on the left, turned up. A very rare sight around these parts!

The museum has extensive grounds.

It seems to be trying to interpret several themes.

We took a ride/walk.

The indoor part of the museum was closed - it is only open 11.00 - 15.00.

I'm not sure what this was for.

We had a good look around the outdoor bits of the museum.

Old wooden hut.

19th Century house?

Rabbits.

Chickens.

A viking chief's hall?

An old tractor - all very eclectic!

Today we travelled 88 miles (142 kilometres). We are at: N64.02236 E11.46753
