There were 3 other vans staying at the car park by the river last night - all Swedish registration plates.
I went for a walk over the river.
It's a really nice area just on the edge of town.
Looking in the other direction from the footbridge.
A very popular place with dog walkers.
Very lush vegetation along the river bank.
Later on I moved the van back to the hospital and visited Ann. She is feeling much better but is still waiting on an ultrasound test before she can be let out.
At about 16.30 after the ultrasound test and two more pills to take every day Ann was able to escape the hospital on her mobility scooter!
We had heard of a famous Runestone at Varnamo and wanted to visit it, but when we got there it was impossible to park, so we just had to drive by! I lifted this picture of the stone from another website. The runes were carved about 1000 years ago and it commemorates a woman's husband and sons who had died.
We stopped for the day at a nearby car park by a smallish (by Swedish standards) lake.
There are trails around the lake.
We went for a ride/walk around the lake.
There are lots of tall trees.
We stopped for a rest.
Ann decided she wanted to photograph me.
Some horse riders came by. We returned to our van.
