Today we travelled north. The area around Lemvig is quite hilly - the first hills we have seen since leaving Britain! We took this picture next to a church on a hill above the town.
We stopped for the day at the town of Hanstholm. We did a supermarket shop and then parked on this large grassy area.
We briefly moved our van down to a parking area on the cliff top overlooking the harbour, but decided it wasn't cool to stay there, so moved back to the grassy area where we had originally parked! From here we could see numerous vans parked for the night at the supermarket. Sometimes I think vanners are a bit like sheep - they tend to follow each other's example!
Here's the wider view from our side door this evening. There is a Belgian and a German registered van here as well as us.

Hi Roger,
Good to see your van is behaving itself for this trip, and once again some great blog pic's.
All is OK back home, you've no doubt heard we've been having a heatwave in the UK, it's been very very hot!
Only 3 items of mail so far in your letterbox, including a very nice pamphlet from Jehova's Witnesses wishing you "Eternal Happiness". I'm sure you can't wait to get back home to read it :-)
Cheers....Steve
Hi Steve, Great to hear from you. Thanks so much for keeping an eye on our post box. It has been hot in Netherlands, Germany and Denmark but I think not as hot as you and Margaret have been having it? It's about 17C this evening in northern Denmark. Roger
