Another very hot day. We paid our 23 euros parking fee and left Leiden. We travelled east on motorways and eventually crossed into Germany.

We arrived at the town of Schuttorf and did a supermarket shop before going to the town aire, servicing the van, and parking for the day.

There is a river just a few metres away from our van. It was very hot so we just sat around in the shade for the afternoon. 

We had some salady things for our tea. We just didn't feel like eating anything hot! We prevously stayed at this aire on 3rd May 2017. Here's a link to what I posted on that occasion: To Schuttorf 3.5.17
